About the Descriptive Examination
Technical Knowledge & Engineering Application
Unlike Tier-I which was objective, Tier-II requires written, explanatory answers. Questions test deep understanding of engineering concepts in your chosen discipline. The final merit list is computed by combining Tier-I + Tier-II marks together.
✏️ Carry multiple black or blue ballpoint pens. Tier-II is a handwritten exam — answers must be written clearly and legibly in the answer booklet. Practice writing technical answers within the time limit before exam day.
