30 Q / 30 M

Shortlist ratio: Approximately 20× the vacancy count will be called for CBT-II based on normalized CBT-I merit.

Subject-Wise Strategy for CBT-I

📰

General Awareness (40 marks)

Highest-weightage section. Cover current affairs from the past 12–18 months, Indian Railways facts, Union Budget 2025-26, government schemes, sports, awards, science & technology, and static GK (capitals, rivers, national parks). Daily news reading is essential.

🔢

Mathematics (30 marks)

Class 10 level: Number Systems, Percentages, Ratios, Profit & Loss, Time-Speed-Distance, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Basic Algebra, and Geometry. Target 50 practice questions daily from past papers or standard references.

🧠

Reasoning (30 marks)

Coding-Decoding, Analogies, Number Series, Blood Relations, Syllogisms, Direction Sense, and Data Sufficiency. Speed and pattern recognition are key — build them through timed mock drills.

📊

Mock Tests & Accuracy

Complete at least one full-length timed mock daily. With ⅓ negative marking, accuracy matters more than raw attempts. Analyse every mistake, track weak areas, and revise formulas regularly. Rest well before exam day.
