This estimate is based on the provisional answer key. Your actual score may shift slightly if any answers are revised following objection review. Scores will also be normalised across shifts before the final merit list is drawn.

Section-wise Structure (100 Questions · 90 Minutes)
General Intelligence & Reasoning
CBT-I is a qualifying and screening stage only. Approximately 20 times the vacancy count (around 1,16,200 candidates) will be shortlisted for CBT-II based on normalised CBT-I marks.

How to Challenge a Question or Answer
If you believe the provisional answer key contains an error — wrong official answer or an ambiguous question — you can submit a formal objection through the candidate portal within the window period.

Navigate to the objection submission section and select the specific question number you wish to challenge.

Choose the answer you believe is correct and pay the nominal objection fee per question online. The fee is refunded if your objection is upheld.

Upload supporting reference — a standard textbook page, official publication, or authoritative source that backs your claim.

Submit before the deadline. RRBs do not accept objections after the window closes, regardless of merit.

After clearing CBT-I, shortlisted candidates will sit for CBT-II — the main merit exam. Typing Skill Tests apply for JAA and Senior Clerk posts. A Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) is required for Station Master. The final merit list is based on CBT-II marks plus applicable tests.
