Step-by-Step: Access Your Response Sheet & Key

1
Open your regional RRB website (e.g., rrbcdg.gov.in, rrbbnc.gov.in) or the centralized portal rrb.digialm.com.
2
Look for the link "CEN 06/2025 – NTPC Graduate Level CBT-I Answer Key 2026" or "Response Sheet & Provisional Answer Key".
3
Log in using your Registration Number and Date of Birth / Password. Complete the captcha and click Login.
4
Your dashboard will show links for the Question Paper, Response Sheet, and Provisional Answer Key as separate PDF files.
5
Download all three files. Save them securely — you will need them to calculate your score and to raise any objections.
6
Cross-reference your response sheet against the official key, marking each question as Correct, Incorrect, or Unattempted.

💡 If the portal loads slowly, try incognito mode or access during early morning or late evening. Keep your registration number and password ready before visiting the site.

04 · Calculate Your Score

Estimate Your Marks Before the Official Result

CBT-I Marking Scheme & Score Formula Score  =  (Correct × 1)  −  (Wrong × 0.333)
+1
Each correct answer adds 1 full mark
−⅓
Each wrong answer deducts one-third of a mark
0
Unattempted questions carry zero penalty

This estimate is based on the provisional answer key. Your actual score may shift slightly if any answers are revised following objection review. Scores will also be normalised across shifts before the final merit list is drawn.

05 · CBT-I Pattern

Section-wise Structure (100 Questions · 90 Minutes)

General Awareness
40 Questions / 40 Marks
Mathematics
30 Questions / 30 Marks
General Intelligence & Reasoning
30 Questions / 30 Marks

CBT-I is a qualifying and screening stage only. Approximately 20 times the vacancy count (around 1,16,200 candidates) will be shortlisted for CBT-II based on normalised CBT-I marks.

06 · Raise Objections

How to Challenge a Question or Answer

If you believe the provisional answer key contains an error — wrong official answer or an ambiguous question — you can submit a formal objection through the candidate portal within the window period.

01
Log in to your regional RRB candidate portal with your registration credentials.
02
Navigate to the objection submission section and select the specific question number you wish to challenge.
03
Choose the answer you believe is correct and pay the nominal objection fee per question online. The fee is refunded if your objection is upheld.
04
Upload supporting reference — a standard textbook page, official publication, or authoritative source that backs your claim.
05
Submit before the deadline. RRBs do not accept objections after the window closes, regardless of merit.

⚠️ Only raise objections where you have documented, authoritative proof. After reviewing all valid challenges, RRB will release the Final Answer Key and proceed with result computation. Do not rely on YouTube or coaching-site answer keys for objection decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

When was the RRB NTPC Graduate Level CBT-I Answer Key 2026 released?
The provisional answer key and response sheets were released on 06 April 2026 across all regional RRB portals and the centralised login at rrb.digialm.com.
Is there negative marking in the NTPC Graduate CBT-I?
Yes. One-third of a mark (−⅓) is deducted for every incorrect answer. Unattempted questions carry no penalty. Factor this in while calculating your estimated score.
How do I access my response sheet?
Log in to your regional RRB portal using your Registration Number and Date of Birth. The response sheet, question paper, and provisional answer key are available as separate PDF downloads in your candidate dashboard.
Will marks be normalised across shifts?
Yes. Since the exam was conducted in multiple shifts from 16 to 27 March 2026, scores will be normalised before the merit list is prepared to ensure fairness across different difficulty levels.
What is the next stage after CBT-I?
Approximately 20 times the vacancy count (around 1,16,200 candidates) will be shortlisted for CBT-II. Post codes requiring Typing Tests (JAA, Senior Clerk) or CBAT (Station Master) will have those additional stages before Document Verification.

The result date has not been officially announced. After the objection window closes and the final answer key is published, RRBs will process and declare the result. Monitor your regional RRB portal for updates.
Can I rely on coaching-site or YouTube answer keys?
No. For score calculation and especially for raising objections, always use only the official provisional answer key released on your regional RRB portal. Unofficial keys may contain errors.
⚠ Official Portals Only

Download your answer key, response sheet, and raise objections exclusively through your regional RRB portal or rrb.digialm.com. Do not use third-party tools or unofficial sources for any step of this process.

Beware of fake answer key PDFs circulating on social media and coaching platforms. RRBs are the only authoritative source. Keep your registration number and login credentials strictly private.
