💡 If the portal is slow due to high traffic, switch to incognito mode or try during off-peak hours (early morning or late night). Keep your login credentials ready in advance.
04 · Calculate Your Score
How to Estimate Your Marks Using the Answer Key
Before the official result, you can calculate a reliable estimate of your score by applying the standard CBT marking formula:
Score Calculation Formula
Score = (Correct × 1) − (Wrong × 0.333)
Go through each question number in your response sheet
Match your recorded answer with the official provisional answer key
Tally: count of correct answers, wrong answers, and unattempted
Apply the formula: Correct − (Wrong ÷ 3) = Estimated Score
Note: unattempted questions carry zero penalty — do not include them
This estimate is based on the provisional answer key. Your actual result may differ slightly if any answers are revised following the objection review process.
05 · Raise Objections
How to Challenge a Question or Answer
If you believe any question has an incorrect official answer or is ambiguous, you can raise a formal objection through the candidate portal before 06 April 2026 at 10:00 AM.
01
Log in to your RRB portal using your registration credentials and navigate to the objection submission section.
02
Select the specific question number you wish to challenge and choose the answer option you believe is correct.
03
Pay the objection fee of ₹50 per question online. This fee is fully refunded if your objection is upheld as valid.
04
Attach supporting references — a standard textbook page, NCERT/technical reference, or any authoritative source that backs your claim.
05
Submit before the deadline. RRBs do not accept late objections under any circumstances.
⚠️ Only raise objections where you have clear and documented proof. Frivolous objections waste fee and time. After reviewing all valid challenges, RRB will publish the final answer key and proceed with result preparation.
