The entire process is online and can be completed from any device. Complete the form carefully — corrections may be restricted after final submission.

Click on "Registration for Class I Admission 2026–27" and create a new account using a valid mobile number and email address.

Fill in the child’s full name, date of birth, gender, category, and both parents’ personal and employment details accurately.

Select up to 3 preferred Kendriya Vidyalayas in order of priority. Choose schools close to your residence or workplace for convenience.

How KVS Allots Seats — Priority Order
KVS follows a structured priority-based system for seat allotment. Children in higher-priority categories are considered first. Within the same priority, a lottery is conducted if applications exceed available seats.

Transferable Central Govt. employees — including Armed Forces and Para-military personnel. Highest preference in all KVs.

Non-transferable Central Govt. employees — those posted in a fixed location under central departments.

What to Keep Ready Before You Apply
